Recently Kristen, (our newest addition to our family of photographers) and I met the most adorable couple from Japan, Kanako and Mashashi!
Not often we have the honor to serve Japanese couples due to the language barrier.
However Kanako was a college student in the USA and she and her fiance wanted to get married in paradise at Sunset.
This awesome North Shore wedding started out with a little Hawaiian rain blessing and ended up with their dream wedding a reality!
Kristen graduated from Brooks Institute of Photography with a BA in Film and Commercial Advertising. While in California she worked for a large corporation. To pursue her dreams further, she moved back to her home in Hawaii and now specializes in wedding and portraiture photography.

Aloha! Thanks to Kalona and her hard work, we were able to have our dream wedding October 2011 in Hawaii! It was was solbautely beautiful. So much more than we ever dreamed it would be. Kalona was patient and very committed to making our day unforgettable! She listened to what we wanted and truly cared. We can’t stop looking at our amazing pictures of that wonderful day! The beach where we were married was breathtaking. We met with Kalona the day prior to our wedding and when I walked on the beach and saw how beautiful it was, I couldn’t stop crying! It was overwheming! Kalona is an excellent planner! She made our day so special and preformed a great service. We will never forget Kalona! We are already planning on celebrating our fifth year anniversary in Hawaii.~Lisa and LeKisha
